Tutorial 33
It's Back!!
Sfxr Dubstep wobbly sound (sfxr style)
Okay! It's
2018 and we start off the new year, with the
sfxr plugin again.
So lets make that sound dudes.
1) Bring in
sfxr into Lmms.
--------------------------------------------------------
2) In the
Wave Section select the
Saw wave.
The
square wave is shown in this pic. The shape after it, is the
saw wave.
Click on the saw wave and it'll turn
bright green. Bright green means it is activated.
--------------------------------------------------------
3) In the
Env section
(aka the Blue dials):
ATT (attack) raise it a bit, to
0.314 or a bit more, if you want.
Hold=
0.308
SUS =
0.261
DEC (Decay) dial =
0.4
---------------------------------------------------------
4) Now we go to the section with the
Green dials, called the
Freq section.
Turn the:
START dial =
0.168
V.DEP =
0.297
V.SPD =
0.203
-------------------------------------
5) Okay, on the gui of the sfxr, look for the section called
Phaser.
Turn the:
PH.off dial to =
0.46
----------------------------------------
6) Okay. Now we will bring in, the
C*Eq 2x2 plugin, which is included with lmms.
Look for dial called
125 hz.
Turn that dial to
8.82
Or turn it to
12, or a bit over
13, for a deeper sound.
----------------------------------------
7) Okay. Now
press and
hold, the
B key, on you computer keyboard.
Or press
G3 key on your
piano.
Note: Turning the dials, of the of the
C*Eq 2x2 plugin, will give all sorts of cool sound effects.
So turn those dials and enjoy away.
And that's the end of our short tut.
Stay tuned for the next one everyone.
