problem with loops

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Hello everyone !

I am a beginner with LMMS and I am encountering a difficulty with the software.
I managed to incorporate loops at the right speed in the song editor via the rhythm and bass editor but in this one my loops always appear in 4 beats and not in 16 beats as they should .
Could someone help me get them in 16 minutes please?

Thanks a lot
oliver

I read this as you want to extend your 4 beat-loop the the length 16-beats.
That is easy in LMMS.
In rhythm and bass editor there are 3 buttons in right corner:
Image
First button will shorten the beat 4 beats, not the one you should use
Second button will lengthen the beat 4 beats, that one you should use
Third button will make a copy, and is not relevant.
If you only want a copy of the existing 4 beats, the simplest is to drag in the right side of the beat. That will elongate your beat one bar.
hello :)
Thank you for your responses.
In fact the problem comes from the fact that when I want to integrate an existing 16-beat loop inside the song editor, I only have access to the first 4 beats of the loop.
even with the manipulation that you suggested to me to do, I still do not have access to the 12 other beats of this loop.
Is there anything else I can do to finally be able to read my loops in full?

thanking you in advance
