Yes it is. An lmms user called J.Sharma, makes lots of remixes, using lmms.
If you want, feel free to check out his remixes, on soundcloud.
If you are totally new to sound engineering you can start from Fruity Loops. FL will let you understand what actually is going on here. When you feel comfortable with FL you can move to LMMS.
LMMS can be tough for a newbie.
To start from something difficult is like to do a paper writing on aerospace engineering being a 7th-grade student.
You could just get a burnout.
No harm starting with a program that doesn't automatically complete all tasks for you.

I have started making Techno with LMMS, never used FL or Ableton,

I have also never looked at even one tutorial and have no understanding of how to read/write music, scales or chords etc.

I think my first track is pretty decent, what do you think?

I'd support Mr.Outstanding rush and would say that FL is a brilliant soft for newbies. It's not overwhelmed with complicated faders and sound designing stuff. It looks interesting, attracting and can be considered a game.
