Question #1 For over a year now I've been thinking about writing a tutorial on chiptune techniques using, fittingly, the 2A03 sound-a-like "Nescaline" that comes as a default instrument with LMMS. Mainly because in my experience it required a few workarounds and a bit of background knowled...
I realized I've regularly been doing a pretty dumb thing. I like to check out a lot of the new posts in the Music Projects section and almost always feel like I have feedback to give. I think this is the "deal" made here: You want feedback, so you give feedback and will receive in return. ...
Considering everything is hand-written, this is quite impressive. Plus old film music can be really fun. I immediately got flashbacks to the theme of The Third Man (on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oEsWi88Qv0).
Pretty cool and sounds pretty good. Definitely recognizable.
Sadly your post has attracted sc(p)am-bots. They act upon certain phrases ao single words, and then they add gaming links to absurd posts. we will clean up your post. Something I fell cou got absoultely down with this one is balancing excitement - build-up and delivery are reall...
Not something where I fell super genre-savy, the best comparison for me would be something like Basscults Paradise Place (on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vKo2B2-sY0 ). I'm not really too up to date on this style, I only know it from old vynil releases - but cool to see that it is still ...
Should I write some lyrics and sing on this? https://youtu.be/73_wnB1ADnw Well ... if you want to and feel confident there's something great you want to create that way, go ahead! Structurally this could very well be an instrumental for a song. As commented on YouTube: It's also makes pretty good c...
Really cool and fun to listen to. It does enough work with patterns to get the listener on the flow of things, but is still unexpected and complex enough to be interesting. Even with some slight subversions on expectations! Production sounds flawless to my unexperienced ears, everything sounds reall...
