Mpc-like plugin or set keys to channels in midi keyboard.

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Hello lmms users :)

Before i was working on fruity loops, there is plug-in named "fpc" and simulating a mpc, no that like plugin in lmms so i install midi controller for keyboard named "vmpk" and all is working but i need to set chosen key to chosen channel, how can i do that ? Im very need that option cuz im working mostly in this way.

So i have hope for help, greetings
Welcome to the forum.
I do everything from the keyboard it self, with my portable piano I can set the from middle C to the left side to midi channel two, and I leave the right side on midi channel one. Hence splitting the channels in LMMS. The effect makes it sound just like your sitting in front of my piano.
As in anything special to split the channels I don't know about them.

Nope man, i dont need any piano, i wanna sampler, i need to assign chosen sample to chosen key on my keyboard.Any ideas for that ?
I just looked at the Fl Studio mpc like plugin, now I know what your looking for. I hope some one here can help you.
Download theVSTi sampler ShortCircuit 1.1.2.
Each key can then be assigned a sound + a ton of other effects/filters. It is a brilliant piece of software.
TX16Wx VSTi is another good choice.
Yes it is but there are some issues with TX16Wx and LMMS. It's not possible to drag a sample onto it. Somehow it doesn't work. I might be doing something wrong but gave up and found ShortCircuit.

This isn't a final judgement so try both.
Ahh i forgot to add something sorry... I see that circus program is for windows, i need program/vst for linux.Im thinking about that -> http://linuxsampler.org/downloads.html - But i see he have licence Gpl but with commercial exception, so linuxsampler is not free program...

I need free program/vst for linux in that case.Any another ideas ?
I think it is free. http://linuxsampler.org/downloads.html#linuxsampler
That License exception is not important for us.
Were the links posted even remotely what OP was looking for?
Honestly, I shot in the dark. :)
